so i am currently taking necon (a generic brand for birth control) for about 4 months.
i started noticing my veins in my legs to be slightly visible within the first month, then gradually went darkening.
i asked my dr and she said it was because i've been exercising more daily (about 4 miles a day) , that eventuallly we all get them when we're older (but im only 19!)
then just last week i noticed my veins in my arms start to bulge and darken up. i dont work my arms out, so what can be an explanation for this?
( i know that veins carry blood flowing up to the heart, i know about those valves that keep the blood from going back down. i know that prolonged use of BC can cause some varicose veins down the road, but i have been using for 4-5 months...)
help me out?
