Excessive Coolant Usage In '90 Acura Legend?

My 1990 Legend has been using coolant to the tune of about 1-1/2 gallons daily. It is NOT leaking nor are there wet marks on the bottom of the engine. However I'm not getting white smoke thru the tailpipe either. 2 questions: Is my head gasket blown and will the Stop Leak additives work on this? The engine runs smooth as silk and overheats on start-up but then you can hear a surge or "burp" from the engine and it immediately runs normal temp. I have purged the air from the bleeder valve every time I add coolant, which is daily. Any ideas on this? Oh, it is a V6 with 102k original miles.
 
any antifreeze in the oil? it could be a headgasket, freeze plug, or coolant jacket leaking.... oh and stop leak products don't work
