exceed rc sunfire radio control car?

ok so i have a exceed rc sunfire buggy. not the best i fryed the motor and speed controller. i upgraded to a team losi desert truck which i am in love with. and my little brother who is only 5 and is turning 6 this july always likes my desert truck. i hade the sunfire in my room taken apart some what kept most parts and i was wondering one of many things. first off, it has no motor or speed control or a controller for the receiver i was thinking of replacing it all with a team losi motor speed control and receiver because i like how they work. 2nd off i am ordering some parts off the spare part sunfire on exceedrc.com and saw that they are selling one regular shock (i think) for $7.00 and the aluminum shocks for $13 for a set of 2 if anyone else has ordered off of the spare part list and bought some replacement shocks could you let me know so i can find out if its just one regular shock or 2. also i am looking for a new unpainted body along with wing that is unpainted. my little brothers first r/c car and i want to make it better than it was when i bought it. right now its all stock pretty much, untill i buy the new motor, receiver, and speed controller. if their are any other upgrades i should get please let me know. i know for sure i need new front and rear lower arm pins, and one rear dogbone. i would go all out for my little brother and make it all aluminum but my dad is helping pay for some of it and might not buy me all new aluminum parts. so i have to settle for the parts i need the most first. any links to were i can get most of the parts for cheap would help wonders. my total so far for all the major parts besides the team losi motor, speed control, and receiver(controller comes with right?) is $26.00 but i also need to buy new e clips but im getting them from the hardware store. thank you for your help. it will make my brothers bday the best because for once im completely rebuilding this r/c car for him even tho i could be doing it to my team losi or on the sunfire for me. thank you so much from me and my dad anything that we can get cheaper from any were will work. i live in the state of washington too.
