examples of magical realism for like water for chocolate book?

If you can do some additional details to refresh my memory about what happened in Jan. I can probably help you. We did a lot of work on this book in the 10th grade and I remember it became one of my favorites.

There's a lot of magical realism in there. You just have to think about how all this stuff that can't really happen in real life is actually portrayed in our world.

Like the baby's tears is just a way of saying she cried so much. But that in itself is an example of magical realism.
