Example of a short story with character development?

For school, we all have to bring in an example of a short story (about 2 pages) where the main character changes in some way. It doesn't matter who wrote it, as long as it has character development in it. It can be off the internet if we want, or from somewhere else.
I can't find one anywhere, so I would really appreciate some help
