I am an avid reader (around 2 medium books a day, although if I put my mind to it I Can read 900+ paged books in a day with full understanding of what I just read, although the 2 books a day is just a regular thing.) Reading is a big part of my daily life, and often times I am in the middle of reading 10+ books.
I also take great pride in my large collection of titles, but I dog-ear my books! I feel so bad about doing it beacause everyone says that it's SO bad for your books. It's just much more convenient, and I don't trust any other form of book marking! I have tried the clips, the regular paper bookmarks, the cute magnet ones, really all sorts. None of them seem to work, they always loose my page! I have tried to just read to a certain chapter so I could remember, and I have tried remembering the page I left off , it didn’t work out. Every new year my resolution is to stop dog-earing, but it never works! Besides my bad habit I take excellent care of my books, I believe that books are precious and meant to be cherished. So HOW bad is dog-earing really? Is there any type of book-marking you could advise, that I might not have tried?
