I got a message from my ex husbands wife's divorce lawyer saying he understood I was once married to him and his current wife has filed divorce. He would like to meet with me. Something about her case of custody, physical, emotional, and mental abuse. Now why would he want to meet with me? I really don't want to be dragged into it. I can't stand my ex, and i'm scared they may want to make me go to court and testify on her behalf of what maybe I went through while I was married to him. I've never met his wife, so I don't see what I have to do with any of this. I haven't seen him in 13 years. I'm scared, can they subpena (sp?) me? BTW, she has the same divorce lawyer I used when I filed, he can't use info from my case can he? Please anyone with knowledge on this, give me some insight.
