Ewan McGregor & Danny Boyle

For anybody that doesn't know Ewan McGregor & Danny Boyle (director of Shallow Grave, Trainspotting & A Life Less Ordinary) fell out over The Beach when Ewan,who had recommended the book to Danny and been promised the part, was overlooked in favour of Leo DiCaprio.

I know they haven't worked together since and I just wondered if they've made up or is McGregor still refusing to speak to Boyle.
 
I read an interview with Danny Boyle in the Guardian a few weeks ago (haven't got the link - sorry) and he said that, basically, Ewan McGregor was probably right to fall out with him over the Beach and that they're talking again. He didn't know if they were going to work together again, but he'd like to.

It'd be a shame if they didn't, because it was one of those great actor-director partnerships, a bit like Scorcese and De Niro, or Paddy Considine and Shane Meadows.
