Evo Shift and eye strain?

I just got an Evo Shift a week ago and I bought Invisashield Screen Protectors for it. Within one or two days my eyes were bloodshot and since I work on a computer all day (which I have for 6 years), didn't get much better for the remainder of the week. I thought it could be the brightness, so I turned that down. I thought my eyes might need to adapt so I tried not to use my laptop at home and take a break from TV screens and such. Now it seems after all the tech-breaks I've been taking (which you can imagine are torture lol) I can tell when looking at the phone that my eyes are in pain after only a few minutes of looking at it. I'm afraid that it might be this new phone that I love so much but I'm wondering if it could also somehow be the screen protector (desperate hope) since I have never used this brand before? Has anyone else had any of these issues? Did you figure out if it was in fact the phone's screen or not?

Your screen protector does not have anything to deal with your issue it seems to me that your eyes is hurting on behalf of the brightness of both your phone and your computer lower the brightness on both or lower the brightness on one and not the other your stressing your pupils to see bright screens which will result in your eyes feelings heavy and painful. I have a HTC EVO and have a screen protector on it but I do not get on the computer afterwards ill let my eyes rest before doing that.
