So I moved out about a month ago from my old place because my roommate was moving in with her boyfriend, but to not leave me in the street she gave me her friends number whom was 'supposed' to help me out with a new apt. This girl Julie (my roommates friend) said she was moving from her apartment to another city and said she'd leave me her place until the contract was over (which would be now) and that from then on we'd schedule a meeting with the landlord to transfer the contract under my name. I payed her the ONE MONTH I stayed here but never gave her a deposit considering a situation like this would occur.
Screw up #1 She failed to mention she wasn't on the contract, it was under her exboyfriends name. Which is why she didn't care for the deposit and said I could give it to her later...
Screw up #2 I've never been able to meet her ex and discuss further plannings because he's always canceling, he never returns my calls and demands Julie to 'handle' the situation, while on top of that I've lost 3 days of work this week.
So now the contract hasn't been renewed and I'm being kicked out yet again.
PLEASE ANY ADVICE WOULD BE USEFUL!! (Nothing rude please, although I have to say I might deserve it)
