When the floods happened in Pakistan I didn't really give it much of a passing though. Now that this is happeing in Australia I'm really concerned and get quite upet when I hear updates. I've donated money (I think most people have) and I'm constantly checking news etc to find out latest.
Only difference is thta it hits more to home becuase there are so many white people.
I think everyone is a little racist sometimes. I don't believe people who say they are NEVER racist and never have ANY racist thoughts.
