every time i play my sims 3 game my toshiba computer it always shuts down?

after i play the game for an hour or a couple of minutes sometimes its even less the 3 minutes my computer shuts its self of i have gone to the games settings and change all the ones that can me changed to low and and somebody all suggest that i change my power setting so i have also gone on my computer power settings and changed them to never for turn of display and put computer to sleep and still after an hour or so my computer Still shuts of is there anything else i can do im not sure if this helps but my processor is an intel(R) core (TM) 2 Duo CPU T6500 @ 2.10GHz
and the memory (RAM) is 4.00 GB
and the system type is 32 bit operating system
