Every time I download Flash Player... It continues to tell me I need to install it....

...How do I fix it? I install the newest flash player, it says it's installed but it doesn't.. Anything that requires flash player I can not use.. What do I do!?
To top it off, my flash player has worked all the way up until like a day ago. I don't get it! It's frustrating!
 
As stupid as this may sound. You just have to keep upgrading until it stops saying that you need to upgrade. Your computer must be very behind on it's updates.
