WOW.

Rarely do I ever allow myself to be bothered by Internet badasses, but today the sh*t hit the fan here on Duc Spot!

Seems JerryM made a crap comment on a fellows Track plastics on the D16RR subforum. Though quickly rebuked GEEBEE felt he needed to assert the higher status of the Desmosedici owner asking why everyone couldn't stay on THEIR side of the forum..

Made a comment about it, but I guess the proof is in the pudding.

And his response:

I really am at a loss for words over this asshole's attitude...on our own forum.

Hey GeeBee, I hope you get hit by a bus.

Yep this guys a A class fuckhead I made a comment once as well and he wanted to let us all know if we do not own a Desmo we have no right to reply to his thread but he loves posting up photos of his Porche don't know how many times I have seen that farkin thing posted on this forum and others.

The problem is that it is very easy to attack each other and not act like this is a forum designed (or so I thought) to share a common interest and support our love of anything Ducati. All the "my bike rules...your bike sucks" "look at those chicken strips" "nicky sucks" "oh yeah? casey sucks!" "oh yeah? what do you know about it?!" threads just put everyone on the defensive. If you don't like it...no need to comment. If you don't like something or don't agree with someone...dissing their paint or calling him or her an "ass" is the best way to start a flame war. "not my taste but good on ya" certainly goes a lot further

Personally I though the original comment putting karelin's plastics down was way uncalled for and was in the process of saying so when 'ol boy's post popped up.

Some people just need to be punched in the face repeatedly. Who cares if it'll help or not.

I thought everybody just ignored Cecil anyway.

I loved his comment on the 'Got my knee down today' thread. Seriously inflammatory and no one touched it.

As far as Geebee asking us to stay on 'our' side of the forum my original thought was "As soon as you can lock the door with the VIP key then we won't be allowed into the 'other' rooms here on this forum".

Shit - if I was only allowed to talk to other 916 owners in the '916 room' it would be very lonely.

As I have said before - "I wander all over this vast red land" and until they put doors on rooms (with security).... fuck em'.

Without a doubt the "not feeling the fairing" and the "stay on your side" crap were just that...a big bag of shyte...no use setting it on fire...then we all have to smell it again! LOL!!!

and JERRYM if you read this...shame on you for taking the "small minds" approach to a guy popping his cherry!

Com'down guys, as Tonyous said, just focus on the ones you like.

btw, jerry is on the way back from willow spring..... let me check out that fairing thread...

Alvin could raise money by creating a VIP Sedici lounge with access limited to VIP members who pay an annual fee so they don't have to mingle with the rest of us run-of-the-mill, lowbrow Ducati owners.

For what it's worth, I think karelin's track skins are butt-ugly. More importantly, who goes out on the track for their first time on a Sedici? What's that about? That's a recipe for disaster.

Just my opinion.

Elton

LOL if you're an idiot ANY Ducati on your first track day is a disaster waiting to happen! But if you start out slow and take your time and not try and be a cowboy and beat your buddy's best lap time...you should be fine! of course accidents happen...but to everybody!

Give me a motoGP bike and I won't bin it...i'll prolly be at the back of the pack trying not the shit myself...but I won't bin it
