Ever since we started hanging out with these girls, my best friend has been...

Well, last week was spring vacation and my group of friends hung out with this group of girls a few times during it. My best friend likes this girl and I like her too; however, I don't really say much about it and prefer to just be friendly and not flirt with this one girl in front of all of our friends. Still, she gives me a lot of attention and I think my friend realizes that I am a potential threat.

So, the other night we were all chilling and talking. I won't go into details, but basically my friend brought up a fvery personal fear of mine and told the girls about it. For no reason. And this wasn't just like a fear of spiders or heights, it was something deeply personal, and this fear bothered me alot when I was younger and I had serious problems with it. Yet, he decided to bring it up and mock me in front of the girls, even though he knew.

I talked to him privately, and he tried to say it was just a lighthearted joke, but I know he was trying to make me look like a b*tch in front of the girls.

And then, yesterday, I briefly mentioned something to him about the girl we like's friend being annoying. For some reason, he also decided to tell the girls about this too. It's something he'd never done before, we always say stuff like that to each other. The girls weren't really mad but I don't understand why he said that.

And again, when I confronted him about this, he said he was joking around with the girls and I could have played it off.

I wasn't born yesterday, I know that he's trying to make me look bad in front of the girls, even though he's denying it.

Am I wrong here? And how should I deal with this?
