Ever since I updated my LG Optimus Android to Gingerbread, my phone doesn't connect to my computer. Why?

I havent been able to move any music or anything on to my microSD. It doesnt even give me the option to connect the SD card when i plug into my laptop. But when I plug into my car that has Microsoft Sync, it asks me if I want to connect. And this has been happening AFTER i updated my phone.
It is the Optimus S LS670
