Ever since I started the sport Track and Field, my ankle and knee began to hurt.....?

I started Track and Field about 4 weeks ago. The first week was fine. Towards the end of the second week my knee began to hurt. Then the third week it got worse. THe thing it that it only hurt when I ran, and a little after. At the end of the third week, my ankle began to hurt whenever I ran. The same happened in the fourth week. Then a little after practice, whenever I would go down the stairs of my house, my ankle would hurt. Its better now, but it gets wors when I run.

My friend twisted her ankle or sprained me and she had the same issue as I did, but her knee did not hurt. Her foot was swollen, but mine isn't.

If anyone could tell me what is happening or what I should do, that would be great!!
