Ever since I started going to the gym regularly I stopped getting panic attacks...?

Does cardiovascular health affect that or something? I do the elliptical for an hour about 3 times a week usually maintaining a heart rate of 150. Right before I started going to the gym it was really bad too. I'd have them every day a few times a day and I even began self-medicating at that time. But now I never get them at all. Why is that? Like I'll get a little overwhelmed here and there and depressed, but never full blown panic attacks.
