Ever notice how quick Liberals and Democrats are to complain about "Corporate Welfare"?

Let's have a little reality shine in on your question.

corporate welfare lines the pockets of those who are already rich. CEO's that vote themselves enormous bonuses while at the same time collecting welfare from taxpayers.

On the other hand over 75% of people collecting food stamps and other forms of welfare are children, elderly and the disabled.

Drug addicts and drunks are more likely to be working because you can't AFFORD drugs and alcohol on welfare without skimping on things like rent and food.

Poor people that are drug addicts are usually HOMELESS.
 
Now what's more important, helping big business stay alive(the right way)during hard times? or giving handouts and freebies to drug addicts, drunks and freeloaders? Who's more important to the United States, Big Business or Welfare Recipients? In other words, who's more important, Conservatives or Liberals? What does this tell us about their motives and who they are?
 
It's just a reaction to Conservatives complaining about individual welfare. Both Democrats and Republicans hold their noses and vote to give tax money to whoever needs it, be it the poor, farmers, bankers, or corporate CEOs. You do realize that a farm family sitting on a million dollar property gets four times what a welfare mother gets and a banker gets a thousand times that amount. Also, that the majority of the "welfare" budget isn't given to welfare recipients, don't you?
 
They'll complain about corporate welfare but then turn around and give out subsidies and grants which are the exact same thing.
 
C'mon, Dave, drink the Koolaid and join the majority who vote for giving our tax dollars to gamblers who always loose! Don't look at the water swirling down the drain as time and resources run out! Have a beer! What corporations? Aren't they all gone yet?

In the old days, before the progressives had their way, yes, businesses hired people and people had jobs.Now we have government and everyone is happy! At least we will be. I am forming a Lobotomy Party so that if things don't change back to functional this fall in the elections, we can just have some little snips to the brain and not have to worry about this anymore.

No, obviously I don't want to pay for everybody's bad choices and bad habits. If anyone calls TARP a form of "corporate welfare", they are mistaken as it has been paid back with fees and interest except for AIG, GM and CITI, the business loan bank. GM will be paid up in June. AIG & CITI are paying.
 
Bust isn't the tea party up in arms over bank bailouts and the GM bailout etc., etc. I don't think Democrats have an exclusive on complaining about corporate welfare.
 
Corporate Welfare is NEVER OK because it costs more money and it pretty much says its OK for corporations to make bad financial decisions because the American tax payer will bail them out.

The big difference is Corporations are rich, and people on welfare are not. Also the constitution says we should promote the general welfare, which basically means take care of your fellow Americans if possible. It doesn't say anywhere to bailout private businesses.

Plus when the government gets involved in bailing out corporations it's just one step closer to a government take over. All the companies that accepted the government bailouts aren't calling the shots anymore, until they pay back every cent of the tax dollars that went into saving their irresponsible asses the government calls the shots, not the private sector.

If we didn't bail half the country out this recession would have probably been closer to over than it is right now.

How many banks have been bailed out by public money over the past few years in the current economic recession? We should be more interested in people not profits!
 
The left is so hypocritical that I can't tired of complaining.
I am going to take it back to the Bible---They are envious and jealous--Another reason the left wants the Bible out of schools. It reveals their true evil nature.
