Love Ever After, it's a wonderful movie to watch. Drew Barrymore is great in it. Angelica Houston plays a wicked stepmother, great performance.

I love Drew Barrymore, and this movie was especially fantastic!

The music score to this movie was so moving! I loved it.

And the way it opened with the old woman telling the story and then closing with the line....

" the message sirs, is that they lived"....or something like that! ;)

Best. Cinderella. Movie. Ever.

and the music :sigh: I love this movie and want to wathc it again soon.

I always thought differently - that what she meant is that the story got passed on, that because we know about it, even today, that's why "they lived"

The movie was sweet, and I liked the ending where the evil stepmother and her daughter get their comeuppance. Texas' Put Your Arms Around Me is such a good song too :)

I always thought she meant that the point was that they were real people who lived. No just people imagined

:sigh: pretty

That's a good question:). I guess that just meant that fairy tales aren't just fairy tales, sometimes they're real. People always dream of the fairy tale and the happily ever after, yet they don't need to just dream of it, because it can be become a reality. The movie is all about going after your dreams and making them come true, so the final line connects to that. The bottomline is that dreams do come true (sorry for sounding sappy:P).

I love the trailer when she is in her pretty costume and says "Just Breathe" She looks so stunning there. The cover of the movie looks pretty as well!

My friend and I both agree that the king has the best lines in this movie.

"I shall simply deny you the crown and live forever." Is our favorite, espically the face he makes after he realizes what he just said.

We were both wondering about the last line of the movie.

"Though Cinderalla and her prince did live happily ever after, the point gentlemen is that they lived."

What are your thoughts on this quote?

For a while I actually thought this was the real Cinderella story. The acting was good all around. Nothing was corny or cheesy it was just a great movie from beginning to end.

i love that movie. it is good to see a real cinderella story that is realistic.

I  this movie! It makes so much more sense than the original Cinderella story:).

I initially only watched this because I like Drew Barrymore but I really enjoyed it. It was very nicely done - especially the acting of Angelica Houston who is so underrated.
