I'm working on a homework assignment for my government class and I have to write about events that are origins of current U.S. foreign policy but I am stuck. I know the Cold War is one event but I am not sure how it led to our current policy. Also I need one more event and reasons how it led to our current foreign policy. I know how to write the paper and I'm not looking for someome to do my work for me, I just can't grasp the reasons why these events led to current policy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
