After doing some work on my car last night, I took the bike out for a ride. Was an awesome evening to ride in southern Chester County, PA last night.
Anyway, I just mounted an iphone 4 mount from Ram Mount. I used a 1.75" arm on the mount rather than the standard 3" mount. Looks much better I think. For power, I installed a power plug inside the fairing and then ran a griffin iphone power adapter from the plug to the iPhone and ziptied the wire down. Then an audio cable runs rom the base of the power adapter to the AUX on the HK. Very clean install and only 1 wire to plug into the iPhone when I mount it. The Ram mount covers the fuel gauge a little bit, but I can easily look around it and I use my mileage more than the gauge anyway.
For GPS, I purchased the NAVIGON GPS application for the iPhone. Gave it my first run last night and it works great. Play music with the iPhone and get full nav with turn by turn directions. Very happy with it all.
I'll post some pics when I get a chance to take them.
