"Ugly Today"
I am ugly today
My words coming out of anger
Ignoring the helpless plea from my mother
Not caring for what others think
Stepping on people’s heads while they sink
Fighting the smiles thrown at me
Cursing at everything I see
Making cruel jokes to malevolently laugh
Letting all my good thoughts be taken over by my other half
My beauty escaping my heart
But tomorrow, I will have another start
