From what I remeraber, it has some fairly violent parts. Fighting, guns, death and there is some blood. Not as bad as the series, but it's still there. And there is some artistic nudity on the cover of a book (the same one from the series, if you've seen that) that shows up a few times. I'm not sure if I'd recommend it for children since they're not likely to understand it, either. Though I suppose it depenRAB what age range you're talking about.
