Representatives of European Union countries formulated the text of a resolution, this week, to ban the import of natural gas from Iran. The resolution will be submitted to EU foreign ministers in two weeks, when they meet in Luxembourg.
Today it is forbidden for EU countries to transfer funds to gas companies in Iran, but there is no explicit prohibition on importing gas to EU countries.
