Eten x500, x500+ or HTC P3600?

Greetings All,

Thank you so much for all the information posted here. I've learned alot. After the unfortunate death of my Treo 650 I am looking at moving to a Windows Mobile phone. I tried the HTC Herald (T-Mobile Wing) and found it unusably slow. I would try to answer the phone and since the screen took so long to respond, I would push the button again and put the caller on hold. Many things were just very, very slow. So in general that has really put me off of any phone using the OMAP 200 Mhz processor.

So, I've narrowed it down to the Eten X500, X500+ or HTC P3600. These all have faster processors and from what I've read, should meet my needs. For the same money I can get the HTC P3600 or Eten x500+. Or I can save about US$100 and go with the x500. I've read that the x500+ is maybe a little slower than the x500 because of the VGA screen. That makes sense, but the VGA resolution is tempting. I guess it really comes down to quality/reliability/durability. This phone has got to last me a long time.

What are your opinions on quality between Eten and HTC? I'm open to all ideas and opinions.
Oh for what it's worth, other than reliability, here is a list of most important criteria:

GSM Quad-Band
WiFi
Touch-screen
Microsoft Exchange/ActiveSync support
Good phone audio quality
Reasonably fast response speed (unlike the Wing)
GPS would be nice but is NOT required.

Thanks for your input!

I was comparing HTC P3300 to ETEN X500 about 4 months ago, found ETEN to be very buggy according to ETEN user's forum, while XDA developers had extensive support and the issues related to software were not as frequent as ETEN. That was then, now I dont knw if ETEN has improved its existing ROM's while I know HTC has definitely improved support for their WM6 upgrades.
I believe HTC announced no WM6 ROM for P3600, but check XDA developers to see if its out or not.
