esprimo mobile v5505 fujitsu siemens laptop?

I'm having a bit of a problem installing xp onto my laptop.I'm to get xp to run on to my machine everything is great until it comes to the partition scree. instead of showing the partitions it says unknown disc? i have tryed the installation disc in another machine and it worked so i know it isn't the disc? anyone know how i can solve this problem
