hi. i dont want to scare you but please get your husband to the doctors asap for a check up and scoping. my dad died from esophageal cancer 2 years ago.....had always suffered from heartburn, reflux, etc but one day started with terrible indigestion, couldnt eat and swallow food, vomiting........they scoped and biopsied and he was diagnosed. if caught early prognosis is fair to good......with a specialist they were going to remove the cancerous sections but unfortunately the cancer spread very rapidly and he didnt have the chance to do the surgery. dont mess around with it...just get to the doctors. hopefully its nothing and with todays medical advancements we can be more hopeful. good luck to you and keep us posted.
