On todays show Terry asked the following:

Liverpool became the first British team to win the European Cup-at this point the contestant buzzed in and said "1978",which was accepted as the correct answer. Er,not only did Liverpool win the European Cup in 1977,they weren't the first British team to win it-that was Celtic in 1967.

I think that the question was interrupted and was going to be something like 'Liverpool became the first British club to win the European Cup twice in which year'. This question would make 1978 correct.

Which is utter rubbish when you consider United won the European Cup in 1968, thus your suggested question does not make any more sense than what was said in the program before it was allowed to finish. Chances are it was asking about winning it for a second time.
