Error 1714: The older version to Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver cannot be removed...
Anyone ever come across this problem with the after upgrading/installing a new version of PC Suite? It doesn't affect my use of PC Suite only the use of software updates. I have to do those on my computer at work. It's the old driver from my 6681. I didn't have this problem when I upgraded from my 7610. I removed all the Nokia software from my pc when I briefly lost my mind and bought a SE K800i. Now I get this error message with the NCCD. I've searched around and found one thread in the Nokia Europe forum and the only solution given was to completely reinstall windows.
That makes no sense. The PC Suite Cleaner didn't make a difference and I cleaned out the registry uninstalled every piece of Nokia software on my computer. Any help is greatly appreciated.
