Ericsson S500i - cracked keypad

im thinking about buying the black S500i, I like all the features, but im hearing all this stuff about the keypad getting cracked after a few days. People are also say that the ones made after week 31 wont crack. Could somebody clear this up for me?

It doesn't matter which color it is. It's the way how it's manufactured that's the problem. Even though SE came out with a dumb excuse stating that the cracked keypad is blamed on the paint, it's just that the keys were made somewhat thin and they are conected together. So if you tend to press each key on the side, or at an angle, instead of in the center, the keypad will tend to crack. The same will also occur with the W580i since they are basically the same phone. I was thinking about getting one myself. But having a cracked keypad is a no go.
