I have boot camp running Windows XP Pro on my MacBook Pro. When I try to run ePSXe 1.7, it won't read my fully working Kane's Soul Reaver disc ( I know that it works because I tried it with the terrible psx7 emulator). I think it is because my MacBook Pro has a DVD drive and and all of my ePSXe plugins are CDR plugins. Can anyone help me get this working with my CDR plugins or help me find a DVD plugin?

An easy way is to just make an ISO file of it using an ISO creating program (google it, they're all free).

Or, to save a little trouble, since you own the actual game, it's legal for you to download the ISO here:

http://www.emuparadise.org/roms/system/2/Sony%20Playstation/PSX/ISO#

That's the best site ever for downloading PSX ISOs. Has every PlayStation game ever made, and every one works. Direct download, no B.S. Just like I like it.

Be sure to download the ECM tools (they give you the link there). It lets you uncompress the ISOs they give you there. It takes a few seconds. Then, once you have ECM tools and the compressed ISO file, just drag the game into the ECM tools program (the icon in the folder), and it takes a minute to uncompress.

Then, just open epsxe, pick play ISO, choose the ISO, and voila. Don't have to worry about scratched disc or anything.
