Hi sickdaily and bethsheba,

I looked on the off chance and was suprised to find both your responses. Love and respect to you both. I was starting to feel normal again and lo-and-behold wakened up on Sunday morning - symptoms, swollen throat and neck. Couldn't swallow. Neck pain. Swollen glands. Limbs ache and joints too. I'm not down, but am sick and tired of this. I wonder if this is environmental? Sorry that you both are suffering, and for such a long time. Yeah my second cat came with fleas. I've to go for a blood test to see if I have toxoplasmosis this week. Doc. covering all avenues. Just wanted to vent. Thanks ever so much.

It is thought that fleas can carry Lyme and the symptoms you're experiencing are those of Lyme Disease...if it is Lyme, the arthritis most likely will get worse, and other symptoms may develop. Keep in mind that symptoms often ebb and wane with this disease.
