Epstein Barr Test

My son's EBV test came back with a count of over 2000.
What does this mean. The dr was so vague with me, she didnt want to tell me anything. All she would say was his mono test was neg and his Epstein Barr was over 2000.

i am going threw kinda the same thing my son is 3 and he had a knot like thing in his neck they sent him for blood work and they said his ebv levels were hi it is scary they told me it could turn into lyphoma wich is cancer they told me he is fine now but to watch and make sure the knots does not get bigger ebv is what lingers in your body after you have had mono it stays with you for the rest of your life in children you dont even relize they have mono cause they show no symptons just fever and symtons that a doc would describ as flu like or viral so you would never no just get a second opinon
