epidural injections

How long is a reasonable amount of time for injection site to be sore/tender to touch? I have had them 4 or 5 times over the last year, but the soreness is hanging on after a couple of weeks. It's not unbearable just there.

Sometimes an injection can cause lingering pain. I had one done last Septeraber and had pain up until Noveraber when I had my surgery. Now I don't know if the pain is due to the surgery or injection still. Apparently sometimes they can hit the nerve sheath ?? and it takes a long time to heal.
