Enlightenment philosopher poems?

I'm trying to write a poem about Thomas Hobbes and the Enlightenment but I have no idea where to start or how to write it at all! Here are a list of terms/ideas to include:

-The middle ages
-Trade in Italy leading to the Renaissance
-How the Renaissance led to the Reformation
-How the Reformation led to the Scientific Revolution
-How the Scientific Revolution led to the Enlightenment
(basically how the Renaissance led to the Enlightenment haha)
-Hobbes thinks that people are born selfish and greedy and the government existed to control chaos.
