Hi there,
I'm curious as to how we see objects. Obviously photons are received by our receptors, but does the object emit the photons infinitely? I mean, what causes the photons from the materials of the object to actually travel outwards?
Also, what effect do photons have on shade, or dark? If I'm in a dark room, is it just a lack of photons? And if I look at a shady patch of grass, are the darker shades different colors of the spectrum?
Thanks!
