I am thinking of swapping the engine in my 1962 Impala. Currently it has an in-line 235 with a spun bearing. I found a 350 engine that came out of a mobile camper. Will this fit with no modifications other than hoses. exhaust and throttle linkage? It has a manual three speed on the tree as well. I'm hoping this is a drop in and go for the most part. Are there anything I should look for when and if I buy this engine? Also is the 235 of any value? It has been worked on recently with new rings, oil pump, water pump, cleaned inside and out. Nice looking engine except for the bearing.
