Hi there,
I overfilled my car on engine oil last night. I got into work and the car was blowing smoke from what seemed to be underneath the oil tank. I drained the excess oil and steam cleaned the inside of the bonnet as the dipstick had fallen off and the oil was everywhere. I drove home for 11 miles and when I was home I had another look, the car was still blowing a bit of smoke but nothing like it did before. Is that normal? Any advice is really appreciated.
Let me just add, before I steam cleaned I used gunk to clean the oil from inside the bonnet.
