engine ideas for a '68 Ford Torino GT fastback?

ok so the car i am building is a '68 torino gt fastback that was my dad's, and his dad's before that... I'm not sure what to do when it comes to the motor; the original engine is a 302, but it's been sitting for 21 years, and water has sat in it for the last few years (rain, condensation, etc)

now, the 351C is harder to find parts for, and more expensive, so i'm thinking of opting to a 351W... But, would the block be salvageable to be bored and have 351W heads on it??

part of my question is, what makes a 351W? i've read that the 351 had a 302 block...

so can i mate the 302 block to 351 heads, with a 347 stroker kit? just some ideas i'm throwing... Any tips and ideas would help me out a lot

i belive 302 is a 351 just bigger heads and its boared out i had a 351w in my 79 t bird and that thing whould run great with a bad oil leat but thats been my project car for two years you can get a whole 351w anywhere now days for pretty cheap they were in alot of trucks from the 70s i have a 522 in my 79 with a 6-71 supercharger and it hauls but if you just looking to get it going id go with the 351w long as you blocks not cracked or damaged it should be ok 302 were good them selves what whould be interesting if you got a fuel enjected 302 from like an 86 mustang that whould be differnt
