I do and can't wait for someone to sort out the dimmer switch problem. My living room is the only room in my house without them as I have a dimmer switch in there.

Every bulb in my house is an energy saving one. We have no trouble with flickering, them being too dim, burning out or anything. I wonder sometimes if people know how to fit a light bulb!!!

Please remember, you can get energy saving bulbs, just like old fashioned bulbs, in different watt ratings. If it's too dim, get a brighter bulb.

They're not expensive. You can get them in shops in the UK for under a pound each (40p I've seen some for today). Mine were free from British Gas.

Instead of having a dimmer switch, we have a lamp, with an energy saving bulb (but it's only a 4watt so it's fairly dim)

Yes, and I love them! They use 1/3 the wattage and I think have a better glow than incandescent light bulbs. I figured I saved at least $70 last year for switching to energy saving bulbs.

Yes, I use them. They take some getting used to as the light is not quite as bright as the other bulbs. I buy them on sale.

I have two of them in the living room lamps and they don't seem very bright so I don't much care for them.

Yes and they are dim enough without a dimmer switch. I have a real bulb in the kitchen.
