Endoscopy with Bravo ph capsule

Has anyone had an endoscopy with the bravo capsule before. I am supposed to have one done next week and don't know if I should go through with it. I have had acid reflux for about 7 seven years and have had the regular endoscopy done. Any advice or previous experience with this Bravo capsule would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

yes,i had this procedure done about 6 months ago..i have had acid reflux myself for about 13 yrs.. i am 30 now.. i have had the endoscopy done before but this was the first time with the bravo capsule..i will just be honest,the bravo capsule definetely is very uncofortable..mine hurt me for about 3 days after procedure..everytime i ate it felt like food was pulling it down my esophagus..thats the only problem i had with it..they just pin it in your lining so i'm sure when i was eating it did push on it.. my suggestion would be just eat soups and liquiRAB until the capsule falls off in a few days..well good luck with your procedure..hope it goes well for ya..
