I have become business partners with someone for a new business I'm opening. The partner has contributed a small investment so far and the business is not open yet. We signed a 5 year deal, but now I want to give back his investment and just run the company all on my own.
Since the company isn't open yet and he hasn't given his full amount of the investment yet, can I just return the portion he has invested to him and void out the agreement?
