eMule, eDonkey? Which is safest?

To avoid VIRUSES which is safest program to use? i now use eMule.....
your advice and experience is appreciated!
thanks :D
u dont care? u mean 'it doesnt matter' right?
ya, just a strange, angry way of talking.

I don't care what p2p program you use, you could potentially get a virus from any of them. It only takes ONE time to mess your pc up. Unless you are physically sitting next to the guy uploading a file, you don't know what is in there.

No, I mean I don't care.

I'm sorry if I seem angry, but there are countless people on here trying to get rid of trojans and worms that they have downloaded onto their computers from using p2p programs. I truly wish people would quit using them. If you want to use them, that is fine, I just don't agree with them, and I shouldn't have let my interests interfere with answering your question. So, sorry about that.

I heard that BitTorrent-based clients are the safest, since with them you only share one folder, and not your entire drive. But I don't know, that may have become standard by now.
Always scan the files you download, no matter what they are.
In terms of eMule or eDonkey, I read that eDonkey is more suited for large files (Wikipedia). However, eMule shows 27,000,000 results in Google while eDonkey shows only 4,840,000, so that means there are many more eMule users (I also read that just now), and therefore you'll more likely find what you need.

I know that eMule developed from eDonkey.
