Would someone who is unable to work because they are undergoing cancer treatment be eligible to receive regular (45 weeks) EI benefits in Canada?
Assuming they meet all of the qualifications but these two, which I'm not sure how to interpret:
- You are ready, willing, and capable of working each day.
- You are actively looking for work (you must keep a written record of employers you contact, including when you contacted them).
