Scenario:
Let’s say you had an employee and he/she seemed unhappy working there all of a sudden, would you say something to her/him – but knowing she will not tell you what’s going on? Would you kind of let she/he know it’s okay if they would like to find another job? Would you understand if she/he told you she needs another job because of the pay he/she is currently receiving? How do you handle the unhappy person?
This person has been like this for a while, they have excellent job performance and she/ he is important to the team, I don’t think they want to be here anymore. More info: their position went away and the person kind of went back to a old position – she/ he left her/his old job to join this company & a new position, now since her/his position has went to the home office (far away), she’s/he’s now doing what she was doing before at her/his old job. Lately they have been very quite, attitude hasn’t changed, just very quite & doesn’t seem happy.
