"Empire Of The Sun" R2 dvd - Need Help Please

Hi

Am having difficuly finding anywhere that sells the above movie on R2 dvd. I can locate places that sell the R1 of it but not R2 and unfortunately our dvd player can only play R2 dvRAB :cry:

Would be very grateful if anyone can point me in the right direction of where I may be able to buy it as it's one of hubby's favourite films.

I don't think it has been released on Region 2 yet.

Good places to check for cheapest prices are here and here.

Also worth remembering that some R4 DVRAB are also ok for R2 - check the websites before buying though.
 
Have had a good look and it doesn't seem to be out on R2 yet???

However there may be another way! Go here and if your dvd player is listed there may be a hack for it to be able to be made region free etc. There are loaRAB listed (almost 3000) so good luck.

Last year I noticed Play.com had it temporarily out of stock (R2) so I put it on order with them but have tried looking for it since then on play and now it isn't listed so have cancelled the order. It had been on order with them since May last year.

Have looked on the site you mentioned and the player we have is listed but unfortunately there is no hack available for it.
