Emontional independance is easy, how come financial independance is so hard?

I dont need anyone to lean on or talk to when it comes to emotional indpendance I am 110% independant, I could live completely alone and not talk to anyone and be fine. Financially however I got no money just a broke college kid and rely more on my parents for that. I dont really like my parents, but they pay most of my bills so I have to deal with them right now. How do I get out financially
