00 CROWN VIC.. dual exhaust...4.6L police
I went to a muffler shop. The put on 2 flowmaster replica mufflers. They look and sound like flowmasters but are cheaper. The arent the super loud ones..more like mellow. I called flowmaster corp and they told me that the neck of the muffler that faces towards the motor should be a left or right offset. And same with the rear neck of the muffler...FOR that make and model car.
Now when i look under the car the offeset is in the center facing toward motor and to the right and left facing the rear.
The flowmaster corp said thats why the car is not loud. EVen though it is a replica flowmster. They siad to have them take it off and reverse it. The shop put it on the wrong way....
Can someone tell me what the offset should be for the crown vic...
