I have had, for the past couple days, a small painful (though not agonising) pain inside the lip of my vagina. I don't know what caused it. It feels just like having a painful spot on my face, and it might just be one in a rather embarrassing area. I'm too embarrassed to tell my mum and don't really want to unless I need to see a doctor. I'm 14 and have had no sexual contact or anything like that so it can't be an sti or anything. What is it? Is it dangerous and is there a cure?
By the way, I first noticed it just as I started to have a sore throat and headaches... is it something to do with a virus?
